About Us
Kids Play In The Quay is an upcoming indoor play center for children ages 0 to 10, but we are so much more than just a play center! Our aim is to provide support and services to children, their parents, and the community as a whole.
Kids Play In The Quay was founded by two moms who live in the Fuquay-Varina community, who want to provide a safe, clean, enriching environment to children while also providing amenities and support to parents. Learn more about our promise "For Kids, For Parents, For Community" below.

Open Play
Active play is so important, even when the weather doesn't allow for it. It is our aim to have large SoftPlay equipment for climbing, sliding, and all around active fun. We also plan to have rotating games and activities, and a separate safe play area for toddlers and crawlers. Crawlers will be free with a sibling, and parents/caregivers will always be free!
Party Central
Fuquay-Varina and the surrounding areas need a great place for kids birthday parties and events! We want to offer our community all inclusive party packages to make those special celebrations spectacular.
Classes and More
Kids Play In The Quay would like to be host to classes such as art and music classes, play groups, etc. We look forward to hosting regular special events such as Spectrum Play Sessions, themed storytimes, kids fitness activities, seasonal parties, date night events, and much much more!
Drop-In Childcare
The one thing we've heard requested more than anything else is drop-in childcare, and we would love to bring it to Fuquay-Varina. Kids Play In The Quay plans to offer drop-in daycare as part of our "phase two" of opening. Our plans include hiring a childcare manager and employees that will all be specially chosen and appropriately trained so you can feel secure that your kids are in the best care.
Community Connection
The intention behind Kids Play In The Quay is to have the means to make the most difference in our community. We would like our space to be available to the community for a multitude of uses. We would like to offer opportunities for people in the community to be able teach classes, host meetups and support groups, and make use of co-working space for parents who need to be able to work while their children are happily and safely engaged. As part of this, we hope to also offer potential free usage of our space for community programs, student use, and more.
Support Systems
At Kids Play In The Quay, we believe in the importance of supporting each other as parents. Stay at home parents, work at home parents, working parents, moms dealing with postpartum issues, grandparents raising children... We all need support. As this is so important to us personally, we plan to host regular support groups, parenting groups, and more.
Giving Back
Kids Play In The Quay is not just a business to us, it is a community project. Your input and involvement are important and will help us shape a business that benefits our whole community.
As part of our core outlook and business plan, Kids Play In The Quay is committed to giving back to the community in a variety of ways. First, through donating a percentage of all profits to the community through local charities. Second, by offering free tickets, meeting space, access to support systems, and more to people in our community who need it the most. And third, by sponsoring community projects and teams, and by offering support and resources through local outreach.
This community means everything to us, and the opportunity to help strengthen and uplift our community is what excites us the most about opening Kids Play In The Quay.
